On your days off, where would we most likely find you?
I love to hike in the woods, up North with my two daughters, my husband and my dog. When I'm in the city I love to do hot yoga and boot camp classes.
Describe a time that you wanted to quit something you were doing, but didn’t.
I generally am not a quitter but training for the New York City marathon was as hard as can be! Those long, lonely training runs would leave me exhausted! It was so worth it in the end. The marathon was a magical experience with crowds cheering the entire way. It was the closest I've ever felt to being an Olympic athlete, especially crossing the finish line in Central Park!
Who is your favourite superhero and why?
New York City firefighters are real life heroes. They never hesitated to do their job and beyond even if it meant possibly losing their own lives. Wonder Woman was also great! Loved her lasso of truth.
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A Broadway star and a medical doctor. Didn't do either but I am still dreaming!
What is the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?
I joined an adult show choir and actually performed a Queen medley as well as Michael Jackson's Thriller on stage, dance moves and all! Very embarrassing but so much fun!
If you were stranded on an island, what one item would you want with you?
I would bring photos of my family. A book of matches would also be pretty helpful!
What is your favourite outfit to wear?
Wearing any type of athletic gear is when I am most comfortable but I do also love to dress up. I do have a serious boot issue though….way too many to count!
What was your favourite childhood television program?
Chez Hélène. Great show watched in every French Canadian household!
